Buğra "Calyx" Arkın has parted ways with Windigo. The Ukrainian team has replaced him with their inactive player, Yanko "blocker" Panov.
The announcement was made shortly after their 0-2 loss to Aristocracy in SECTOR: MOSTBET. They currently sit in second place in Group B. All that remains is their decider match against Winstrike which determines which of them go to the Playoffs. Windigo also qualified for ESL Pro League Season 10 but dropped out in 13th-16th place after losing all their Group D matches.
Calyx Joined Windigo in July on trial, during which time he has acquired an average HLTV rating of 1.08 in over 45 maps. He now returns to being a free agent. In contrast, blocker has been sitting on the bench since Calyx's arrival. However, blocker's return to the main lineup is on trial.
Sabit "mirbit" Coktasar and Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss also happen to be on trial with the team. The only full members of the squad are Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov and Valentin "poizon" embers. How long it will take for Windigo to settle on a roster is anyone's guess.
