Call of Duty is the best-selling franchise for the last 10 years

The Activision company has excellent performance, and they manage to keep the interest of the fans of the Call of Duty series every year. They decided to take stock of 2018 and share the results with the players. The company reported in their blog that the Call of Duty series became the best-selling franchise for consoles in the USA once again according to statistics. It is worth noting that this action gets the tenth consecutive year. Activision shooters topped the annual sales charts since the release of Modern Warfare 2 in 2009.

The release of their latest multiplayer shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 took place in October last year. This new franchise part from Activision was well received by fans, even though it was slightly different from previous games: the developers added Battle Royale mode, called Blackout, and removed the single-player campaign.

The sales results of all parts of the game series were taken into account in deriving the results. So, here is the list of the best-selling Activision’s franchises in the United States over the past 10 years looks like this:
