Good news, everyone. Well, not everyone. Those who love newest Call of Duty – rejoice! Treyach announced a special battle pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, available free of charge in their brand new Black Market. The pass’s called The Contraband for some reason. Anyway, having the battle pass, players will be able to get cosmetic items, new hero emotes and other stuff. The Contraband works this way: the more time you spend in different shooter modes, the more goodies and bonuses you eventually get.
As far as the Black Market is concerned, it’s this sort of a system that unlocks extra tier of new skins and weapons. Some gear will be given to players just for pouring hours into seasonal operations, while more sophisticated items are available to players who execute trials or can be purchased in Blackjack store (coming in November). As of today, the operations are already open and taking part in the First Strike players can unlock:
- All-New Blackout Characters- New playable characters will be released with each new Operation.
- Signature Weapons
- Specialists Outfits - Cool customization content built around themes for all Specialists in-game; you can even mix and match the look of your character within outfit sets.
- Tags / Gestures – Whether you’re taunting opponents or celebrating a victory, Tags and Gestures are a perfect way to express yourself in the game.

Just for the record, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 events and updates are a temporary exclusive for PlayStation 4, so PC and Xbox One players will have to wait until the Black Market opens along with the battle pass on October 26.
