business associates snatch up EternaLEnVy and Sneyking ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

For a team created this year, business associates have been on a roll. So far, they've attended three Majors and are currently competing in Dota 2 BEAT Invitational Season 9.

Yesterday the North American team announced the signing of former Cloud9 players, Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao and Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu. They replace Joel "MoOz" Ozambela, who shared news of his departure the day before, and Leon "Nine" Kirilin, who is taking a break from competitive Dota.

EternaLEnVy and Sneyking have stuck together since August 2019 when Fighting Pandas was formed (formerly Fighting Pepegas). With Cloud9's return to competitive Dota, both players joined the organization in early March. The new team struggled for a bit, and after just three months in the scene, Cloud9 shuttered its doors to Dota once more, and that's when business associates came swooping in.

business associates' new roster consists of four American players and one Canadian, which seems to be the safe move right now as all organizations would prefer to have their players close together. The alternative, having players spread across the world during the current pandemic, is less than ideal and has led to contract terminations. The shift to online events across the world also means that things like ping become more significant issues, so it makes a lot more sense to have teams on a level playing field.

Here's what the new business associates Dota 2 roster looks like:

  • David "Moo" Hull

  • Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao

  • Braxton "Brax" Paulson

  • Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu

  • Clinton "Fear" Loomis (captain)

  • Leon "Nine" Kirilin (inactive)

  • Jimmy" DeMoN" Ho (coach)

The new roster made their debut at the Dota 2 BEAT Invitational Season 9 but lost their first match to Quincy Crew, 2:0. Next, they'll face CR4ZY in the Lower Bracket at 3:00 PM PDT today.
