Epic game announced a new tournament series with even bigger prize pool than Summer Skirmish.

A couple of weeks ago we witnessed a glorious end of Fortnite Summer Skirmish with very amusing games and a lovely reaction from MorgausseTV. This series of events was Epic’s first major attempt at Esports with weekly tournaments and abundant prize pools.

Epic Games wants to pump up the stakes: the company plans to hold a new series with a smaller time window and even bigger prize pool. Very soon Fortnite Fall Skirmish will start, featuring $10 million prize and six weeks of competitions.

Summer Skirmish involved tournaments with many different formats that allowed squads and individual players to show off their skill in various settings. From Fall Skirmish we expect nothing less, as the competition is only heating up with new challengers rising each day.

Developers are trying to make the game even more exciting for viewers. With recently introduced Grappling Hook and the new modification, from which structures are getting damaged on the edge from the Storm. This will encourage players to be proactive, instead of turtling.

Details of Fortnite summer skirmish are coming soon, but if you can’t wait for a good tournament to watch or take part in, keep an eye on Keemstar’s Twitter for Friday Fortnite announcements.
