Borderlands 3 release date and new trailer released

The official release date of Borderlands 3 is September 13, it launches on Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The official Borderlands Twitter account announced Gameplay Reveal Event on May 1st with. 

The game is already available for preorder, though some Epic Games Store users complain that it’s unavailable in their regions. You can purchase Borderlands 3 for $60, more expensive Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions are also available. The Super Deluxe edition includes Season Pass with four future DLCs.

Many players feel discontent that 2K decided to drop the game on Epic Store — they have been playing the series on Steam for many years. A couple of days ago Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford said the studio wasn’t involved in the decision making on that part and that for him personally, exclusives are fine if “they come with advantages and when they are short – say, six months.”

The question of cross-platform co-op play in Borderlands 3 remains unresolved. Sony is very reluctant to expose PSN players to other platforms and it all might come down to the negotiating ability of 2K.
