Borderlands 3 introduces Zane the Operative ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Gearbox has released a new trailer that gives a bit of background on Zane the Operative. The hired gun talks about how he has always worked alone and no-one but his digi-clone understands him. The trailer also gives the impression that said clone has a mind of its own.

Since Borderlands 3 is just over a month away, we could be seeing more videos featuring vault hunters from the game, leading up to launch. It would be a great way to introduce players to the characters in the Borderlands 3 and help them pick a main beforehand.

Zane’s three action skills are also detailed on the Borderlands website. Unlike past games, we haven't been given the entire skill tree before launch yet, and we possibly never will. Gearbox might have just decided to let us discover the rest when we get our hands on the game or it plans to share more information in small doses.

Whatever the situation, Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
