Borderlands 3 announced

Gearbox has just announced Borderlands 3 the latest addition to the gaming franchise.

Due to technical difficulties during the broadcast, the Gearbox team forgot to mention the release date and platforms.

This tweet suggest that the game is launching on April 3:

Besides the new Borderlands 3, Gearbox is also releasing Borderlands Remastered with all the previous versions of the game (1, 2, Presequel etc) on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One. The game launches on April 3 as well.

Yesterday, Gearbox dropped a teaser trailer featuring the familiar characters and hints about the new title. It also had a promocode which can be used to obtain content for Borderlands 2. During the presentation, developers went through the video and decoded some of the things.
