This BOOM Esports squad parted ways with INTZ about a week ago. We knew about this change due to the ESL Pro League Season 11 team list announcement that showed BOOM and its roster as participants. Now, the Indonesian organization has confirmed the acquisition. The BOOM Esports roster had been with INTZ for 15 months before moving.
BOOM Esports opened the 2020 season with a full Indonesian lineup. But, after coming in third place at the NVIDIA Geforce Cup Pacific 2019 event, they decided it was time for a change. Now, BOOM Esports' roster will be a team competing in the North American region due to the entire roster being from Brazil. MIBR and FURIA seem to be the top teams from this region currently, but INTZ wasn't too far behind them. It will be intriguing to see if this change in organization for the team will result in higher placings from the squad despite the roster being the same.
