Ukrainian CS:GO player Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk has found a new home at Gambit Esports where he will compete on the main roster. In November he was expelled from HellRaisers to make room for Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov and since that time was considered a free agent. During that period Vladislav played for Gambit at SuperNova CS:GO Malta because another player on that team had visa issues.
It seems like the team was satisfied with bondik’s performance as they invited him to join on a stable basis.
bondik will be taking the spot of Dmitry "dimasick" Matvienko. According to Gambit coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy, the team can’t afford the luxury of time dimasick needs to change his play style since he is too focused on individual play.
We'd love for Dima to perform at his best, but he is currently unable to do it within our system. Unfortunately, we do not have an option to wait for him to undergo this transformation, whereas altering an entire system to suit his needs is suboptimal.
Gambit is moving dimasick to a backup position, and he might leave the team soon. Right now, bondik is on a two months trial period, but there is no telling if dimasick will fill his position if the management isn’t satisfied with the new player.
The first test for bondik and the revamped Gambit squad will be taking place on January 16 during the CIS Minor in Katowice.
