Blizzard is teasing a new medic for Overwatch

Medics are obviously underrepresented in Overwatch, but that situation is subject to change soon if the recent tease from the developers has an actual foundation under it. Blizzard started to hint at yet another new hero for the game, and this time we might see a new medic. A French one, to be exact. In case you are wondering if the fans are going to make inevitable crossovers with the German medic from Team Fortress 2, we are here to say – yes, they are.

Blizzard is famous for its cryptic messages that contain information regarding new heroes, and the very same thing is happening right now. It all started with “bypassing” the Talon firewall in Twitter, and the message in question contained a link to the game’s official website. There you can find a letter by Talon’s squad leader D. Cuerva who is very concerned about the deserter Jean-Baptiste Augustin. Apparently, Jean-Baptiste left Talon to join Overwatch order, and his case is being investigated in the letter. D. Cuerva mentions that Jean-Baptiste is a great medic capable of precise shooting and surviving harsh conditions.

Whatever this situation turns out to be, we are definitely facing another case of teasing a new hero. Although Jean-Baptiste Augustin seems to be an obvious choice, the real hero might turn out to be completely different. There was nothing obvious with Brigitte, for instance, and we’ll know for sure the identity of the 30^th hero in the coming days.
