RFRSH Entertainment’s BLAST Pro Series has announced its partnership with gaming peripherals and accessories company, SteelSeries, for its Copenhagen event.

The partnership will have SteelSeries set up its booth in the arena where fans can play to win prizes. Other details regarding the deal will be made available at a later date, but will most likely include the use of SteelSeries products by the competitors.

SteelSeries Director of Esports, Tony Trubridge, spoke on the partnership in a release:

SteelSeries has been a proud and invested member of the community since our humble beginnings. From being the sole sponsor of the world’s first CS:GO Major to our latest partnership with the BLAST Pro Series in Copenhagen.

"I’m looking forward to seeing some amazing matches played out in front of the crowd where our journey began.”

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen will pit six invited teams against each other in the $250,000 prize pool event. The tournament will feature a single round-robin best-of-1 Group Stage, with the top two teams advancing to the best-of-3 Grand Final. The winning team will walk away with $125,000, half the prize pool. Here’s the invite list:

  • Astralis

  • Cloud9

  • FaZe Clan

  • Natus Vincere

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

  • Team Liquid

BLAST Pro Series Commercial Director, Leo Matlock, also commented on the deal:

We are delighted to partner with SteelSeries for our sold-out Copenhagen tournament. SteelSeries has been ever-present in the esports community since they were founded in Denmark. There is a natural synergy here with BLAST’s ambitions, and we are excited to be doing so many great activations with them as we return home to Copenhagen.

SteelSeries has developed a significant footprint in the esports industry over the years. Organisations it has partnered with include Cavs Legion Gaming Club,  FaZe Clan, North, OG and Östersunds FK Esports

BLAST Pro Series has partnered with Betway, CS:Money, OMEN by HP and Twitch in the current 2019 circuit. BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen will take place on November 1-2 at the Royal Arena, Copenhagen, Denmark.
