Beşiktaş Esports has announced that Steven "blackie" Groeneveld will stand-in for the team to fill the vacancy left by Meyssa "Missa" Bellouati. 

blackie moves from Asterion which will still be fielding Thomas "Thomas" Utting and Joseph "Luzuh" Loose in his absence. Both teams will compete at DreamHack Open Rotterdam, but are in different groups. 

Beşiktaş qualified for the event by winning the all-women DreamHack Showdown Valencia. They will start the tournament against AVANGAR in the Group A opening match on Friday. The team's current roster consists of:

  • Anastasia "kr4sylya" Khlobystina

  • Julia "juliano" Kiran

  • Petra "Petra" Stoker

  • Zainab "zAAz" Turkie

  • Steven "blackie" Groeneveld (stand-in)

DreamHack Open Rotterdam features a $100,000 prize pool and will take place from October 18-20 at Rotterdam Ahoy.
