Dragon 4ge Day is an unofficial fan event in celebration of the Dragon Age franchise. Taking place on December 4, it would be the perfect time to make a Dragon Age 4 announcement.
Yesterday marked the franchise's 10th anniversary, and though BioWare made mention of it in a Twitter post, no official plans were made to celebrate it. Instead, the developer stated that they would be joining the unofficial fan event in December.
It's a bit of a stretch, but BioWare could be planning something special for fans at the event. We could even go as far as hoping for some Dragon Age 4 news. After all, four is in the event's name.
Dragon Age 4 was confirmed to be in development during the Game Awards 2018. However, the game's lead producer Fernando Melo left the company in August. His departure could have affected the game's development in some way and had fans in a bit of despair. More recently, EA additionally confirmed that the game might not release before the next two years.
Similar to Mass Effect's N7 Day, Dragon 4ge Day will be a celebration of the entire franchise, created by fans for fans. BioWare's presence at the event will surely boost its value, but new Dragon Age 4 details would sweeten the pot.
