BestNess wins The Quarantine Series Minor Tournament #1

The Quarantine Series is back with Minor Tournament #1, which took place from April 18-19, 2020. The online Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament series was created to keep the competitive scene alive during the coronavirus pandemic.

About 8,500 players signed up for the online event, with some of the notable names being, Leonardo “MkLeo” Lopez Perez, Samuel "Dabuz" Buzby, Gavin “Tweek” Dempsey, Enrique "Maister" Hernández Solís, Ezra “Samsora” Morris, and Eric “ESAM” Lew.

The Quarantine Series Minor Tournament #1 had a prize pool of about $5,000, with the next event being Pound Online, scheduled for April 25. The first Major will take place on May 2, with every month set to host a Minor and Major until July when the Finale will take place.
