Frostbite Esports LLC is a gaming tournament organizer which hosts many tournaments on a bi-monthly basis.
According to the press release, the company has partnered with "gamers loved" gaming hardware brand BenQ by ZOWIE to cooperate on upcoming Frostbite event 2019. The deal includes providing monitors for all aspects of the event from tournament stations to administration. ZOWIE will also serve as the presenting partner for the doubles bracket.
The main game of the event will be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Sora Ltd in 2018). As in other fighting games, the format of the event will be focused on individuals, meaning one vs one.
Alex “Vayseth” Varga, Frostbite event director added in the statement:
ZOWIE’s presenting partnership of the doubles event helps the brand highlight the unique benefit the format receives from a high-end, lagless monitor. At most doubles tournaments, all four players huddle together around a single screen. Teams will sometimes get their own monitor if they are chosen to play on a featured stage, but many competitors will never get this experience. ZOWIE’s partnership allows Frostbite to provide each team with their own separate monitor for the entirety of the competition.
ZOWIE logo will be then displayed during the broadcast as a partner of the event.
