Copenhagen Flames announced today via Twitter that Sebastian "Basso" Aagaar will be taking a break from the team. Rene "TeSeS" Madsen has been brought on as his stand-in.
The former Squared Esports and GoldenGitte player cited personal reasons for his hiatus, with no mention of when he will return. Basso joined the Danish organisation about a year ago.
TeSes will temporarily take Basso's place in the squad. The 18-year-old CS:GO pro has also played for Squared and GoldenGitte in the past. TeSes played for OpTic Gaming through ESL One New York, DreamHack Masters Malmö, and the ESL Pro League Group Stage. They disbanded right after dropping out of the Pro League due to a lack of support from management.
Teses joins Asger "AcilioN" Larsen, Magnus "Nodios" Olsen, Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk and Asger "Farlig" Jensen in the squad. The organisation also competes in League of Legends, Fortnite and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
