Bad News Bears replace Swole Patrol in Flashpoint 1 phase 2

Flashpoint has announced that the Chinese esports organization, FunPlus Phoenix will now field the Bad News Bears roster in Flashpoint 1 Phase 2 instead of Swole Patrol.

The change comes as a result of Swole Patrol and FunPlus Phoenix failing to find common ground regarding their place in the second phase of Flashpoint. The Chinese organization is having a hard time with its entry into competitive CS:GO as this will be the third team they've negotiated with to compete in Flashpoint 1. 

Initially securing Heroic's roster, they only played one match in the tournament before being forced to forfeit their second match against Orgless due to roster complications after Patrick "es3tag" Hansen suddenly signed up with Astralis. This puts Bad News Bears in a tough position as they begin Phase 2 at the bottom with only 15 points. 

Here's the new FunPlus Phoenix roster for Flashpoint 1 phase 2:

• Jonathan "Jonji" Carey

• Michael "dapr" Gulino

Under the FunPlus Phoenix banner, Bad News Bears will play in Group C (The Replacements), where they will face c0ntact Gaming later today. If successful, they will move on to face the winner between MAD Lions and Chaos Esports Club's match.
