Astralis Group, the parent company behind Astralis, Origen and Future FC has announced plans to list an initial product offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market. The listing will take place sometime in 2019.

Astralis Group was born when RFRSH Entertainment separated its esports teams from its tournament circuit, BLAST Pro Series. In August the company then created a third esports brand, Future FC, which operates solely in FIFA.

Astralis Group founder and CEO, Nikolaj Nyholm, discussed their plans in a release:

"Esports is already a billion-dollar industry, measured in US dollars and especially in the US and Asia, investing heavily in the industry. We in Astralis Group have created a strong foundation and a leading position in many areas, and we want to consolidate with the listing. We will invest in facilities, performance tools, organisation, media channels and commercial platforms so that we can maintain and develop our position."

"We will invest in making sports and our brands even more interesting for the fans and more easily accessible to a much wider audience. We will continue to build the most winning teams in the world, as well as develop our commercial platforms. We see great potential in further developing our products and scaling the business globally. With the professionalisation that takes place in the industry, it is also an advantage to ensure sound capital resources."

According to their announcement, details regarding the prospectus and subscription will be available at a later date. The company already has two dominant brands in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive powerhouse Astralis and League of Legends European Championship team, Origen. Then there’s Future FC which is set to dominate FIFA esports.

The strength of Astralis Group’s brands will surely reap some favourable results during the upcoming IPO, allowing them to boost their brand power and improve their competitive prowess.
