The GIRLGAMER Esports Festival - World Finals in CS:GO came to an end yesterday after the European team Assasins defeated Dignitas Female in the Grand Final.
Assassins had a strong showing at the event, first beating INTZ Female 16:9 in the Semifinals and then Dignitas Female in the Upper Bracket Final, 2:0. Both teams Assassins sent to the Lower Bracket faced off in the Lower Finals, with Dignitas Female securing a rematch after a 16:11 finish.
This time, Dignitas Female seemed better prepared for their opponents, taking the first game at 16:12. In the second game, they fought hard and came close to ending the event, but Assassins denied them the win. The third and final game ended in a similar fashion, with a 16:14 score in favor of Assassins. Without an organization backing them, Assassins managed to seize victory from their opponents in some exciting matches.
