Monster Hunter: World is pretty famous for its chain of crossovers with popular gaming universes which supply it with a set of sword and/or bow-wielding characters. We've seen Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, we are looking forward to Geralt from The Witcher, and now the time has come for another prominent hero to join forces with the hunters - and the recent addition comes in the form of Bayek from Assassin's Creed: Origins.
Capcom has announced the start of a new event which tasks you with defeating fast and agile monsters while on a quest to get Senu's Feather. Given you've successfully completed the objective, you'll be rewarded with Bayek's armor from Assassin's Creed: Origins and the iconic Assassin's Hood. The armor is cosmetic only so you can wear it over your existing equipment without losing the hard-earned stats whereas the Hood gives you a boost to both speed and stealth.
You can view the details via the announcement trailer. The event has already started on consoles, and in case you prefer playing on PC you'll have to wait a little longer. As with the other events and collaborations the new content arrives on PC a bit later, so you might spend the time thinking of possible reconsidering your platform of choice while waiting for the event to start. Just saying.
