Artifact Beta will start in October

While we might be well aware of the Artifact release date, it still came as surprise today when THE Gabe Newell himself got to the stage during the opening ceremony of The International 2018 to start the show and sneakily announce that Artifact beta will start in October. 

Artifact is a card game based on Dota 2 heroes and apparently moving forward in big steps. The only thing we’re not sure of is how will everyone get access to beta? Right now there are definitely two ways to get the key: get to The International 2018 or visit PAX West and play the game there. Anyway, I believe we’ll figure it out, one way or another. 

Current release date for Artifact is November 28. Price tag is $20 that will get you a starter pack. Surely, you’ll need (or at least be able) to spend much more money on this game, considering it’s a card game. We all know how it ended up with Hearthstone eventually, you can just pour all your money into the games like this.
