The first quarter of 2020 has been a hard one following the spread of the deadly coronavirus COVID-19 across the globe. Many tournaments and events have been canceled or postponed to try and contain the new disease, including Arc World Tour events.
Upon reviewing the current state of affairs, Arc System Works has now decided to cancel Arc World Tour 2020 in its entirety. This means that all events that were a part of the tournament circuit, including online events, will no longer award Arc World Tour points to the top participants.
Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel ARC WORLD TOUR 2020 in its entirety.

As a result of this news, all DAREDEVIL events and ARCREVO Korea 2020 will no longer take place. Meanwhile, ARCREVO Japan 2020 and the Arc World Tour 2020 Finals could still be held as independent events later in the year.

The health of our competitors, staff members, and community members is our top priority. This decision also comes at the face of increased difficulty in facilitating fair competition throughout the tour. We regret to inform those who have been eagerly anticipating this tour of its cancellation. We thank you for your understanding.
Other tournament circuits like Capcom Pro Tour and Tekken World Tour have also canceled events since the outbreak. For the time being, there appear to be no plans to cancel their circuits entirely, but that could change if the pandemic isn’t under control in the next few months.
