Shooting enemies in Apex Legends is without doubts a lot easier on PC, and to date, the record for the highest amount of kills belongs to PC player Lucas “Mendokusaii” Håkansson with a professional gaming background. However, there’s a console player who managed to climb almost as high in kill count as Lucas who neutralized 36 of his opponents.
The new console record belongs to a PS4 player who goes under the nickname Calamiti. His kill count topped at 34 kills, and you might’ve already guessed that one of the weapons of his choice was the undoubtedly marvelous Wingman. And as far as many of gamers understand the truth that it is easier to aim with a mouse, Calamiti’s success underlines the fact that you can reach (almost) the same level of skill with a controller. He got really close to beating Lucas’ record, but a few of his knockouts were stolen by other squads, which were punished by himself afterwards.
Calamiti was doing the same thing going solo and hunting for the enemies. Playing as Wraith allows to do that pretty easy as she is designed in a specific way to avoid overwhelming forces of the opponents. She also has the smallest hitbox in the game, which greatly adds to the completing the challenge of setting a new record.
