The roster of Apex Legends includes a male playable character who is a gay. Here is what the official bio of Makoa Gibraltar says:

Overwatch also has a gay character named Soldier 76. Perhaps, Respawn Entertainment games are following the example set by Blizzard.
Gibraltar is the only male character in Apex Legends available for free upon purchase. The other free characters are three women named Bangalore, Lifeline, and Wraith; a robot named Pathfinder; and a mysterious masked warrior named Bloodhound (the voice suggests, that it’s a female character).
Apex Legends is a free to play Battle Royale shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA Games. It launched on February 4th on PlayStation 4, Xbox and PC (through Origin). Initially, the game was supposed to be a new title of the Titanfall series, but the rise of Battle Royale genre prompted the developers to rethink the game concept and turn it into a free for all arena.
