Norwegian esports organization, Apeks has announced that Dennis "dennis" Edman will continue to stand-in for the team for the next week.
dennis will play in Home Sweet Home Cup 3 and BLAST Rising this week, while their other stand-in, Pål “Polly” Kammen will play in the Telialigaen Playoffs. The organization has been down one man ever since they benched Haakon "Radifaction" Tholo in late April. Apeks first had dennis bail them out during the Elisa Invitational, which they finished in 3rd-4th place.

Both the Home Sweet Home Cup 3 and BLAST Rising tournaments have already begun. In the former, they entered the playoffs after finishing the Group Stage in second-place behind Sprout, yet, above Virtus.pro and AVEZ. As for BLAST Rising, they’ve been placed in Group C alongside FATE, Japaleno, and Movistar Riders. Their first match in this tournament for up and coming teams will be today against FATE at 8:00 AM PDT.
Here’s what the Apeks roster currently looks like:
-
Ole "Marcelious" Kristian Langan
-
Erik "truth" Hansen Dyrnes
-
Kristian "akez" Kornbakk
-
Sander "Grusarn" Iversen
-
Dennis "dennis" Edman (stand-in)
Apek’s victory against Virtus.pro in the Home Sweet Home Cup 3 Group A decider match shows that the organization does have the makings of a top tier team.
