Anthem won’t have Battle Royale mode

Day after day we get new announcements from game devs who add battle royale mode to everything, to projects of all kinds of settings and genres. Popularity of battle royales increases which makes developers eager to jump on the hype train (while it’s going) and follow the trends. But here’s a completely different case.

Fans of probably most awaited project of BioWare – Anthem RPG shooter – overwhelmed game creators with questions if the game’s gonna have Battle Royale mode. Response of Anthem’s executive producer, Mark Darr, was short and laconic: “No”.

Official release of Anthem is planned for February 22, 2019.The game already has several titles and made fans very happy after showing them some gameplay videos.
