ANNOUNCING: MACHINES OF WAR SHOWDOWN

Blizzard announced showmatches that will happen on new battlegrounds in Heroes of the Storm featuring best world teams!

We’ve revved up the Machines of War and invited two of the best teams from North America and two of the top European teams to duke it out on our newest Battlegrounds: Braxis Holdout and Warhead Junction. These teams will call down the thunder over the course of five matches, with $1,000 USD up for grabs at the end of each match, and a grand total of $5,000 USD awarded following each showmatch. Gale Force Esports and Denial eSports, two powerhouse teams from North America, will kick off the event with a showmatch held on Braxis Holdout. Europe’s competitors, Team Dignitas and Fnatic, will face off in an explosive finish to the Machines of War Showdown event with five matches on Warhead Junction.

Matches from both regions will be hosted on the BlizzHeroes Twitch channel, so be sure to tune in to catch all of the Machines of War Showdown action on the dates listed below! More details:

Prize Pool: $5,000 per event. Each game in the best-of-five earns the winning team $1,000.

When:

• North America: Sept 15 – 3:00 p.m. PDT
• Europe: Sept 29 – 10:00 a.m. PDT

• Europe – Team Dignitas and Fnatic
