The Anthem demo is in full swing right now with public access. Judging by personal experience, the PS4 version is cursed with constant errors and crashes, which occur after each completed story mission. If you are having similar issues, you might’ve already got bored with the unstable performance of the game, and here’s a solution if you still feel interested in BioWare’s latest. DualShockers has posted a 12-minute playthrough demonstrating the late-game content.
One of the high-level Strongholds called Temple of the Scar is in the spotlight of the video. As journalists note, having a buffed up Javelin under your control feels great, but the journey towards higher levels is likely to be a long one. Anyway, Strongholds mechanics are quite similar to Strikes from Destiny series. These missions do not offer any additional story content, but instead, let you enjoy high-level content and respective loot after dealing with powerful bosses. The gameplay is entertaining to watch, but it’s not clear if Strongholds will be entertaining to complete for the second, third time, etc.
Judging by the demo though, the game doesn’t feel exceptionally engaging. However, for the sake of BioWare, let’s hope Anthem shows strong sales upon its release. Otherwise, the studio will face a threat of being shut down by EA, which has a record of doing so to its underperforming studios on a regular basis.
