About the League

American Dota League is the premiere online Dota 2 league catering specifically to players and viewers from North and South America. Season One featured the ten best teams from the region, both professional and amateur. The aim of American Dota League is to show off the incredible talent in this region, and give the players and teams who are on the cusp of becoming great a chance to prove themselves.

"Season one was a really fun tournament since it had all the previous big American teams (Liquid, EG, and Dignitas). I also loved to watch the really good, lesser known teams," said Arif 'MSS' Anwar, mid player for Team Dog. "This was the time I gained a passion for watching and playing competitive DOTA 2 and was able to stand in for some of the teams during the first season, which was awesome! I hope there are more seasons of ADL since I believe the American DOTA 2 scene needs more of these types of tournaments and I always enjoy watching some quality American Dota!"

Format

Season two will kick off April 8th, 2014 and again consist of ten teams competing for prize pool of $10,000. The teams will be divided into two groups.
