The Second Season of American Dota League took a confident start but, unfortunately, not all the teams could do the same: EG and Cloud 9 refused to play due to tight schedule.

Charlie ‘Monolith’ Yang, manager of both teams, released the following statement:

Due to our schedule and how hectic spring is, neither C9 nor EG will be able to participate in this season of American Dota League. We would have really liked to participate and support the growing North American scene but our absences mean another talented team gets time in the limelight. There are a lot of talented players featured and I hope everyone takes notice; this is a staging ground for premiere talent in America.”

Organisers of the tournament were able to find a replacement, so new groups will be as follows:

 Group А  Group В

 Revenge

 Isurus

 Team Dog

 CNB eSports

 Team eHug

 The House Is Down

 Team Liquid

 Union Gaming

 Osiris Gaming

 No Earthspirit

 Shadows Of The Past

 Sneaky Nyx Assassins

The group stage has a round robin format with best 4 teams of each group qualifying for single elimination play-offs. The schedule can be found here, live broadcasting will be provided by WePlay.tv.
