Alliance has announced its new roster for Dota Pro Circuit 2019-2020, which brings a mix of old and new faces. Each of the players in the squad are experienced veterans that have all competed in The International.
Former Ninjas in Pyjamas player, Adrian "Fata" Trinks will take the lead as captain. Joining him are Simon "Handsken" Haag and Linus "Limmp" Blomdin who both used to play for Alliance between 2016-2017, Neta "33" Shapira and Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov.
Nikobaby is the least experienced of the lot. He left Mineski in August after putting on an impressive display at The International 2019 with his aggressive play. Then there's 33 who is reunited with Fata after their time with NiP last season, giving the captain some familiarity to build upon.
Each member has a couple of accolades to their name and the combination of all 5 in a squad will certainly provide some interesting results. Unlike Alliance's last roster which consisted of new talent the team built up, this roster will be able to quickly adapt to each other's play styles and bring out the best in one another much sooner. The last roster left to pursue new challenges and were promptly signed up by Team Liquid which had also just lost its squad.
The new Alliance roster is scheduled to compete in MDL Chengdu Major Europe closed qualifier, which runs from October 5-8.
