More and more teams are recognizing the potential of Apex Legends as an esports game and picking up the players to compete in it. Such teams as PENTA Sports, Cloud9 and 100 Thieves have already signed Apex Legends players or content creators with many others following.
Team Alliance has recently posted announced they were recruiting Apex Legends players via Twitter:
The link in the tweet leads to a Google doc form where players need to fill in various forms such as “how many YouTube subscribers do you have?” Interested parties can apply as solo players or as squads (each squad member needs to submit a separate application).
Players also need to provide a screenshot of their Kills, Damage & Games played, share their esports experience & links to clips and other relevant materials. In the end, there are three tricky questions, asking what makes you a good fit for Alliance, what your goals are and what kind of support you need.
We’ve recently reported that over the first month since the launch, Apex Legends racked up over 50 million downloads. With such explosive popularity, the game is poised to have an esports scene very soon.
