ONE Esports has invited Swedish organisation, Alliance to the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational. The event will hold from December 20-22 at Singapore Indoor Stadium with a $500,000 prize pool and a total of 12 teams.
Alliance joins a fierce line-up of some of the best Dota 2 squads in the world. The team list currently consists of Evil Geniuses, Natus Vincere, PSG.LGD, Team Secret, TNC Predator, Vici Gaming and Virtus.pro.
The relatively new Alliance roster has proven its mettle by qualifying for MDL Chengdu Major and winning DreamLeague Season 12 last week. Consisting of both veteran and fresh players, they’ve become a force to be reckoned with in such a short time since the roster's formation.
The tournament will be a bit of a homecoming for the team’s coach, Jonathan “Loda” Berg and chief strategy officer, Kelly “kellymilkies” Ong Xiao Wei. The former played in Singapore for some time under the Team Zenith banner, while the latter is Singaporean.
Tickets for the event are on sale right now, with their cost ranging from S$8 - S$378. The 30% Early Bird promo ended last week, but the 20% off Student and Last Chance promos are still available for now. All VIP tickets have sold out though.
