Alliance and Vega Squadron have qualified for the SL i-League LAN Finals after the third day of the European/CIS Stage 2 qualifiers.

The results come as a surprise, considering the teams in their respective groups: Alliance were placed in Group A along with OG while Vega were placed in Group B along with Team Secret.

In a surprising turn of events, both OG and Secret, the Frankfurt Major winners and runner-ups respectively, finished last in their groups. Secret still have a chance to win out a tournament slot, but OG are guaranteed for the "Last Chance" bracket, where the bottom four teams duke out for the final EU/CIS slot.

The full groups look as follows:

Group A

TEAM MATCHES GAMES
Alliance 2-1 4-3
Virtus.pro 1-1 3-3
Natus Vincere 1-1 2-3
OG 1-2 4-4

Group B

TEAM MATCHES GAMES
Vega Squadron 3-0 6-2
CIS Rejects 1-1 3-3
Team Liquid 1-2 4-5
Team Secret 0-2 1-4

Friday is the final day of the EU/CIS Stage 2 qualifiers and will determine the next two teams from the region; the "Last Chance" bracket will conclude on Dec. 7.
