Alliance and Vega Squadron have qualified for the SL i-League LAN Finals after the third day of the European/CIS Stage 2 qualifiers.
The results come as a surprise, considering the teams in their respective groups: Alliance were placed in Group A along with OG while Vega were placed in Group B along with Team Secret.
In a surprising turn of events, both OG and Secret, the Frankfurt Major winners and runner-ups respectively, finished last in their groups. Secret still have a chance to win out a tournament slot, but OG are guaranteed for the "Last Chance" bracket, where the bottom four teams duke out for the final EU/CIS slot.
