Have you ever heard about court cases revolving around dance moves before 2018? Epic Games has single-handedly created a new rule in the entertaining world – if you are a famous dancer/performer, copyright your moves and you might get rich(er).
One of the stars of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" sitcom, which had Will Smith in the main cast, recently filed a lawsuit against Epic Games. Alfonso Ribeiro wishes to receive royalties for the "Fresh" emote which was created in the show and used later during Dancing With The Stars.

The details of the case aren’t clear at this time as TMZ reports that Alfonso Ribeiro is in the process of copyrighting the dance. It means that Epic Games aren’t technically violating Mr. Ribeiro’s rights until he brings his documents in order.
Until this case gets into hearings, we are looking forward to finding out what happened to the other lawsuits regarding Fortnite emotes. Every day it seems that there are more and more of them.
