The upcoming Hearthstone’s expansion Rise of Shadows will introduce a number of new cards to the game, and the most inspiring ones are the 1-mana Lackeys that we’ve covered in the previous article. Apart from them, there are going to be a few Legendaries, and the most recent one was unveiled by the Chinese streamer TaoMei.
The newest Legendary card is Fel Lord Betrug, which costs 8 mana. For that, you get a 5/7 minion with an impressive ability, which lets you summon a Rush-powered copy of any minion you pick from the deck for as long as Fel Lord Betrug is present on the board. The only downside is that the summoned minion will die right after you finish your turn. Still, this is a great card effect, which can potentially be used to create new combos at later stages of the match.
Fel Lord Betrug is Warlock’s demon, and you can actually see it in action thanks to TaoMei’s stream. His use of card was rather straightforward, although he managed to launch a chain of effective plays drawing Dr. Morrigan (and summoning the card’s copy with Rush) after putting Fel Lord Betrug on the board and obviously playing Life Tap.
You might be already building new strategies with this latest Legendary in mind. Rise of Shadows is scheduled to release on April 9, which means that the wait will soon be over.
