A new gameplay video for Rage 2

Rage 2 is one of those video games that try to build upon the rather ordinary and familiar post-apocalyptic setting at the same time adding something new and exciting. The most obvious difference that Rage 2 offers is its explosively vivid visual style – and it’s once again on display in the newest gameplay trailer.

A 23-minute long gameplay walkthrough was initially published on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, and the video has all sorts of impressive scenes. There’s actually a lot going on – cruising around the world in a vehicle, running and gunning on your feet, battling huge bosses, and even piloting a battle drone. Rage 2 is focused on the pure gameplay satisfaction and diverse environments so that you don’t find yourself bored. But perhaps the most exciting part about the new game is that it’s the result of a collaboration between two distinguished studios. Rage 2, being an open world title, mostly relies on the expertise of Avalanche Studios, which is famous for its Just Cause series along with yet another post-apocalyptic game Mad Max. The other team – is id Software.

Overall, Rage 2 looks as if it’s going to be an entertaining open-world experience and an engaging dynamic shooter. The game releases next month, on May 14, and we have high hopes for it. Do you?
