A new Black Ops 4 Blackout tournament announced ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Treyarch has officially unveiled the collaboration with an esports organization BoomTV to host a brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 tournament dedicated solely to the Blackout mode. Interestingly, the tournament will make use of the latest map called Alcatraz that was added to the game a few weeks ago.

Alcatraz is not a random choice since the map is smaller in scale and, therefore, offers a more dynamic approach to the matches. In other words, it greatly fits the idea of a Battle Royale tournament – and you can actually participate in it. You can secure yourself – and your team – a place by signing for the event through this link. You can enter the tourney regardless of the platform you choose to play on, although there’s one strict rule you are set to follow – each member of your team must be streaming the game online. The representatives of BoomTV will later choose the best five plays of every team in the tournament and rate them to reveal the most impressive performance. The ten top teams will then share the prize pool of $40,000 between them.

The tournament, called “Take No Prisoners”, starts in just three days, on April 25, and runs from 8:00 PM CEST to midnight. You can check out the short teaser shared specifically to promote the event.
