“Today, we are honored to announce that in cooperation with the renowned MCN, Elephant Bgoose, we established the 4AM Elephant Dota 2 Branch. The team has reached a strategic cooperation with Elephant Bgoose on the Dota 2 project, and we are both dedicated to building this Dota 2 team into one of the domestic esports teams with the commercial operation and the broadest international outlook,”

The organization also announced that the name will be 4AM.Elephant due to a collaboration between the renowned PUBG team and Little Elephant Big Goose, a media holding owned by Tencent and Huya.

Sylar is one of the strongest and most famous players in China. His professional esports career began in early 2011, where he played DotA in the World Elite roster.

Four players, except Sylar, were announced earlier this week. Take a look at the merits of this star-roster:

  • Liu "Sylar" Jiajun, The International 2014 vice-champion, twice bronze medalist of The International in 2012 and 2015. Former LGD Gaming player, who has earned over a million dollars in prize money in his career.
  • Lu "Somnus" Yao, one of the stars from LGD Gaming, he played for the club for six and a half years. Vice-champion of The International 2018, twice bronze medalist of The International in 2015 and 2019, one of the best mid laners in the Dota 2 history.
  • Zhou "Yang" Haiyan — played his entire professional career with Vici Gaming teams. Champion of EPICENTER Major 2019, DreamLeague Season 11, and the highest result in his career was 5th-6th place at The International 2019.
  • Xu "fy" Linsen, legend and veteran of the Chinese Dota scene. Nearly three million in prize money, EPICENTER XL's MVP, twice vice-Champion at The International in 2014 and 2019.

Only Ru "Redpanda" Zhihao stands out from this lineup. This is a 24-year-old support who previously played for Royal and Sparkling Arrow Gaming. Regarding his teammates, Redpanda may be considered a lesser-known player, but he has a very good reputation.
