Epic Games are drawing 3 million dollars for completing the custom maps created by players in the Creative mode.
All in all, these custom maps are obstacle lanes, each representing a special challenge. There will be five such maps in total. The first one is already presented. It was made by FaZe Clan player with the nickname Cizzorz. The task is to complete it in the shortest possible time.
The event will be held from April 29 to June 7.
The 15 best players who have passed the test (apparently, the three best from each map) will get to the World Cup in New York, where they will compete for a separate prize fund of $3.000.000.
A huge amount, isn't it? But it pales in comparison with the main prize fund of Fortnite World Cup — 30 million dollars. Admittedly, Epic Games are finding ways to quite creatively and generously spend $100 million allocated for the first year of their project's esport development.
