In line with the Fomos.kr report, the cancellation of MSI will affect the seeding for the League of Legends World Championship 2020. As the LPL and LEC are currently ranked first and second, thanks to their international performances over the last two years, each region will seed four teams for Worlds 2020. Also, the VCS will provide a second seed for having the strongest international performances out of all the single-seed leagues.
Here is the new League of Legends World Championship 2020 regional seed distributions.
-
LPL and LEC: Four teams each
-
LCK and LCS: Three teams each
-
PCS and VCS: Two teams each
-
